Atokos is the hidden gem of the Middle Ionian Sea. Located only 10 nautical miles from Vathy. An uninhabited island that will show you the wild side of the Ionian Sea. Biologists believe that the nature in Atokos is completely virgin and the flora of the island hasn’t changed for thousands of years. Cedar trees are making the steep limestone cliffs of the island look more dramatic. Atokos is also famous for a small population of monk seals.

After two swim stops in Atokos island we can arrive back to Ithaca and explore the East coast. We can have lunch at the traditional restaurants of Kioni or Frikes village and swim at the crystal clear waters of Marmakas and Nisaki bay. Then we can visit Gidaki or some of the small isolated bays of the South East side of Ithaca island.
